Q&A a day snippet

I have this rather cute little journal which asks you a different question every day and it lasts 5 years so you can see how you as a person have changed from year to yeah. I have only been using this journal since the start of 2015 but I decided I'd share some of the questions and answers with you because sometimes I like to get a bit inspirational.

Janurary 2nd - Can people change?
Definitely, I have seen myself change so much in the past year both in good ways and bad.

January 25th - What makes 'you' you?
I am determined, happy, kind and motivated. Or at least that's what I like to think!

February 10th - If this day was an animal which animal would it be?
A laid back guinea pig.

March 26th - Who do you aspire to be like?
I don't  aspire to be one specific person I just aspire to be someone who is confident, happy and successful.

April 5th - ________ was inspiring.
My family.

April 24th - Is life fair? Yes? No? Sometimes? Not today?
Life isn't always fair but it's how you handle the unfairness which counts.

April 27th - What 'type' of person are you?
I like to believe that I am a fun, exciting person who is great to be around but I know that isn't always the case.

May 1st - Messy or Neat?
Metaphorically neat realistically messy

June 2nd - Should you trust your instincts
I think so because if you don't and you get the decision wrong then you'll be kicking yourself for not trusting your instincts.

July 22nd - Where do you go for good ideas?
Your imagination, let it run wild.

August 10th - What are you running from at this moment?
Nothing, you shouldn't have to run, you should be able to face anything.

September 18th - A decision you made today?
To be confident, don't doubt yourself and just say it.

September 23rd - Write down a quote for today
And suddenly I'm flying, flying like a bird. Like electricity, electricity sparks inside of me - Billy Elliott

September 30th - How do you get out of a rut?
Be positive and go out there and take every opportunity, can't find any opportunities? Make them.

I hope this post inspires you to stay positive, see you next time!

Throwing a Party

Yesterday was my 15th birthday and I had a few friends over for a sleepover so I really wanted to do a post where I talk about some of my favourite bits about parties. This post is gonna be a bit of a diary post, a bit of a chatty post and a bit of a 'how to host a party' post so its kind of a bit random.

One of the things which I think is vital to a party is sitting down and watching a good film, so we watched Pitch Perfect 2 whilst munching on popcorn.

Having a party is an absolutely perfect excuse to order in foods and pig out on loads of sweets and chocolate, so we ordered in dominoes and bought plenty of sweets and chocolate.

What I love about parties is that you have all of your favourite people gathered together so what makes it even more fun is when you have fun and play silly games. We had a just dance battle but of course we chose all the random bizarre songs like what does the fox say and that weird russian song. We also played a few rounds of heads up which caused a lot of laughs you can see some pictures above.

What's your favourite thing to do at a party?

My Experience at Bounce

Hey Everyone, so today I tried a new activity and I thought it would be perfect to share my thoughts and opinions. So today I went to an indoor trampoline centre called bounce in Milton Keynes.

I went for 2 hours so I had plenty of time to really experience and enjoy bounce. At bounce there are four sections:
The Dodgeball Court
The Foam Pit
Slam Dunk
Main Arena

The Main Arena is an area with lots of trampolines even ones angled almost vertically. I really enjoyed the main arena the trampolines were a lot bouncier than I expected and it was great fun to be able to jump between the trampolines.

The Foam Pit was really good fun there were two trampolines next to a huge foam pit. I was too chicken to do any cool tricks or flips but it was great fun to be able to throw yourself off a trampoline knowing you would land in soft foam.

The Slam Dunk was really fun there were two basketball hoops at different heights above trampolines. It was great because it gave you the opportunity to slam dunk which is something I've always wanted to do but I've never had the height. The queues for the slam dunk were always short so you didn't have to wait for ages like you did for the foam pit and dodgeball.

The final and most popular part of bounce was the dodgeball court. The queue was always really long but it was definitely worth it. There are 4 balls, 2 teams, 8 players and 16 trampolines. It's basically playing a normal game of volleyball on trampolines with and a against strangers.

Overall I really enjoyed it, the only thing I would say is that it was a bit too busy for my liking, but then isn't everywhere during the summer?! I would definitely recommend it as a new activity to try over the summer.

See you next time,
Ella x

My Summer Bucket list

Hey everyone, so I've finally broken up from school (at long last)! This means I'm off school for six weeks so with 42 days of free time I wanted to create a bucket list of things that I want to achieve. Because I'm bound to get bored at numerous times. None of these are big things as such just little activities and things I want to achieve. Here we go:

Go on more runs - I've gotta be in shape for Netball next season!

Go on more bike rides - I'm lucky enough to live in the beautiful countryside so I want to take advantage of that.

Make new recipes - I really enjoy baking and cooking especially trying new recipes so with lots of time I definitely want to try some new recipes.

Blog more - I enjoy blogging and I definitely want to do more of it, so look out for lots of new posts!

Prepare for GCSE's - I'm starting my GCSEs in September and I want to make some folders to keep my notes in.

Meet with friends - This summer I want to meet with as many friends as much as possible, trying out new activities.

Enjoy the weather - I spend way too much time indoors so I want to get out and enjoy the weather much more than I have been.

Research a healthy lifestyle - I want to lead a more healthy lifestyle so I want to research some healthy snack ideas etc.

Here's just some of the things I aim to achieve this summer, what do you aim to achieve?

Where have I been?

Hey Everyone, long time no see! It's been over 2 weeks since I last posted, but it feels like forever. I wanted to do this post to update you and to tell you about what is going on with my blog.
I find that my blogging is very inconsistent, one week I will post 3 times and the next week I don’t post at all. This makes me wonder if I should carry on with my blog at all but then I remember how much I enjoy blogging. I also sometimes think does anyone even read this but then I see the page views and remember that people do read my blog and even if they don’t I still enjoy writing the posts. My consistency when blogging is something I aim to improve over the summer so I more regularly.
So I’ve spoken about blogging, now I want to talk about what I’ve actually been doing. Well last week I performed in the schools performance of Oliver so as you can imagine that took a lot of rehearsal time and when we weren’t rehearsing or performing I was quite tired so I just wanted to chill. On Wednesday I had a French mock and an end of year science test which I was revising for like crazy. We also had our school sports day this week which meant I was then very tired and wanted to relax.
So that’s a little update for you all, see you next time!

BGT's should'ves ❀

Hi everyone, so you may think that the title of this post is weird but I think it sums up this post completely. If you are living in the UK and watch BGT (Britains got talent) then you will know that on Saturday the final 45 were announced and that the semi finals start tonight. Well on Saturday I noticed that some of my favourite acts were missing and after doing researched I realized that they hadn't got through, so I thought I would share them with you to remind you of their fantastic auditions. You must read right till the end because i've saved the best till last!

The Cocooners
At the ages of 60, 70 something, 75 and 80 these ladies certainly can dance. I love the fact that they try to decieve you by wearing old fashioned clothes and coming on hand in hand, but secretly they are total firecrackers!

Matt McCreary
This free runner is absolutely awesome, I mean he jumps of a balcony! I've never seen anything like it on BGT, it was thrilling entertaining and awesome, so I was gutted when he didn't get through.

Vladimir Georgievsky
This guy was actually one of my favourite auditions, he was super funny and his trampolining was pretty cool. I think what he created was so unique and clever, he showcase his skills whilst including some humor and something really unique.

Forbidden Nights
Unless you watch Britains Got More Talent (the after show on itv2) then you wont have seen this act because they didn't show it on the main show, I don't know why because it would have certainly gone down well. These guys are clever, good singers, good dancers, good actors and good looking. I personally thought that their audition was clever and entertaining. Watch it below to see what I'm raving about.

I was absolutely gutted when these acts didn't get through, I mean I understand that a guy playing a comb is amusing but these guys were far better. At least the Crumble Lady had a guaranteed place!

What do you guys think? Do you agree with the judge's decisions?

Little Update ❀

Hey everyone, today's post is just a little update to tell you where I have been and what I've been up to. So this week was my last week before May half term (whoop whoop)! I had a lot of tests this week so I decided to take a mini break from blogging to focus on my studies, let's hope it pays off! Also Thursday was a big sporting day for myself, I got a new 1500m PB by nearly a minute and my school netball team became district champions!

I have got lots of good posts planned to come up in the next couple of weeks, but if you have any posts that you would like to see please comment them below because I love to hear from my readers (if there are any). I also included a cute little quote in this post so just remember, be self confident and back yourself.

Have a good May Half Term everyone and see you soon!

Braces and Retainers My Experience ❤

Hey everyone, so today I am going to do an advice post! From April 2012 (ish) February 2014 I had numerous sets of braces and retainers and I feel like I have some advice and motivation that I want to share with you. So lets get started...

1. Wax - From my orthodontist I got some special wax that you put at the back of your braces to stop them from rubbing on the insides of your mouth, it is really useful! I would definitely recommend because it is almost certain that your braces will cut the inside of your mouth and the wax really helps it. One tip: don't use if you are about to eat, I would say the best time to use it is before bed.

2. Toothbrush at School - You can get special toothbrushes that have pointed tips, these are perfect for getting food out from between your braces. I would also recommend taking one to school for after lunch, it is quick to do and then you don't feel disgusting for the rest of the day.

3. Wear your Retainers - I know a lot of people don't consistently wear their pre or post train track retainers which I think is mad1 I had retainers before train tracks and although I thought that they were horrible at the time, I know realize that the shorten the train track process by miles! I now have to wear retainers every night since having braces and because your teeth are always moving I find that if i leave them out for even only 1 night then I can certainly feel it the next time I come to wear them. That is why it is so important to wear them, because if you don't then your teeth will just go back to normal.

I hope you found this post useful and thank you for reading.

Header Battle❀

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not posting, I hadn't managed my time very well and I was struggling with the style of my posts. But I am starting to manage my time better and I think I have my blogging style sussed. So as it's spring and I'm getting back into blogging I decided that I wanted to revamp my blog and give it a more Spring feel. I have designed some spring themed headers and I need some help deciding which one to choose. So here are the headers...

I will post a better blog post very soon, thank you for reading and please let me know which header is you favourite. One last thing, Happy Easter!

School Work and other Hassles

This is just a quick message to apologize for not posting quite recently. This is mainly because I've been very busy and I haven't been in the mood for blogging. I know some bloggers stick to a strict blogging timetable but I don't do this because I don't want the posts to feel forced. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, if you have any ideas, opinions or suggestions please leave them below because I love hearing your opinions.

Options Advice ❤︎

Credit to: http://www.bestsayingsquotes.com/files/choices-quotes-images-2-a7b6f2ff.jpg
Credit to: iliketoquote.com
I am in year 9 so next year I am starting my GCSE's. I have to have submitted my options by tomorrow! So in this post I'm going to give you some advice. I know you get tons of advice from school, but I have some really helpful advice that you may not have thought of.

So here are 3 of the tips that I have found most useful...

1. Speak to someone who is in the year above, and speak to someone who is going to tell it straight. I was unsure of 1 subject and a friend, who is in the year above me, actually recommended that subject.

 2. Got a question and want an unbiased answer? Google. Yes Google. I was told something about an English Baccalaureate and I didn't know anything about it, so I googled it and found loads of useful information.

3. This is the most useful piece of advice I have used and it is; to ask teachers for examples of past papers. Having a look at past papers has really helped me decide whether I wanted to take those sort of papers in 2 years time.

Hope you found this helpful. What GCSE's are you taking or going to take?

Youtube - My Opinion ❁

So today I'm going to do more of a chatty post because I love reading these sort of posts and I haven't written this sort of post before. Today I am going to talk about YouTube because although I love YouTube and really enjoy watching YouTube videos I wanted to share some of my views on the bad parts of YouTube.♛

DISCLAIMER: All opinions are my own and I am not saying that YouTube is bad because it most certainly isn't. I am only writing this post to share my view on YouTube. ⌘

Materialism in YouTube

If you don't know what the definition of materialism is then the dictionary definition of materialism is: the belief that having money and possessions is the most important thing in life. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy hair and makeup tutorials just as much as the next teenage girl but you have got to admit that those types of videos are very materialistic. What I mean by this is that it seems to be able to have a successful makeup or hair tutorial you have to spend a lot of money having the top of the range products. I do really enjoy these videos but I prefer advice or pranks videos because I think they require more talent and more thought. ❤︎

The way YouTubers are treated by fans

I've watched some YouTuber's vlogs where they're are on the way to an event and when they arrive at the event you see all their fans literally swarming around their car. It literally looks so scary that I got scared just watching these vlogs. The best way I can describe this is can you imagine the chaos that would happen if Benefit were giving away £200 worth of products to the first 1000 people to touch a certain car? Yep absolute chaos.∞

Hope you enjoyed this post, what do you think about YouTube?

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

So today it finally snowed, whoop, whoop! I really wanted to do a snow themed blog (idek). So I decided I would share my favourite things about this time of year whilst sharing some of my wintery photography.

Frost on pavement
I absolutely love going outside in the snow; to go sledging, build snow forts, have snowball fights or just go on a nice evening walk with my dog.

I think all of the above are good because they are very sociable activities e.g. you can meet up with your friends to do all of these activities.

I also love drinking tea, enjoying hot chocolates with mountains of cream and marshmallows and I do enjoy a hot bath complete with a lush product.
Frost on window screen

Winter Blues

With all this horrible weather, cold, wet and icy, people often get down in the dumps, myself included. Below are 5 great tips that have helped me get out of the winter blues.

  • Sport - This may sound like torture for some of you not sport lovers, but it is a fact that exercise makes you feel better and reduces stress levels. It doesn't have to be for hours, just a quick 20 min session can make you feel much better.
  • Socialise - When your around people who make you laugh then its easier to feel more relaxed and happier.
  • Treat Yourself - Whether its a lush bath bomb or a nice hot chocolate, treat yourself! Its really relaxing to have some 'me time' once in a while.
  • Get busy! - Do lots of what you enjoy whether that's craft, dance, music, gadgets or blogging.
  • Plan things - Plan get togethers with your friends or other events that are going to give yiu something to look forward too.
I really hope these tips have helped, if you have any other good ideas please comment them below. :) Apologies for the short post, this is my first proper post and I'm still 'finding my feet'.

Welcome to my blog! :)

Hi and welcome to my blog :)
Although I have had this blog for a while I haven't really posted, but that is something I want to change. From now on I want to post at least 2 times a week. I decided it would be nice to officially start my blog with a post about me.

My name is Ella and I am 14 years old. I am nuts about sport (especially netball) and I enjoy craft and creative things. I can play the piano and the ukulele and I like acting.

On this blog I want to post things to do with craft, fashion, interior and general life.  have an Instagram account @w.onderful if you wanted to check it out :).
BE SURE TO COMMENT ANYTHING YOU WANT TO SEE BELOW!

I'm not really sure what else to put :S...
All I can say is I hope you enjoy my blog!
