Fired Up // Film review ❤

Hey everyone, so today I have decided to do a little film review for you. I decided that I wanted to review the film Fired Up because it is a great film that not many people have heard of. It is on Netflix in England (I'm not sure about elsewhere in the world).

http://www.slantmagazine.com/assets/film/firedup.jpg       The film is about 2 boys (Shaun and Nick) who are the stars of their football team, but their main hobby is hooking up with girls. Yes, hooking up with girls! The boys have hooked up with almost every girl at their school and they want to meet new girls. So when they discover that there is a cheer camp which will have hundreds of new girls at, they make a plan. But the boys have never tried cheer before, so how will they get on the team? And even if they make it onto the team cheer camp clashes with football camp and they can hardly attend both. The boys make lots of risky plans and have to work very hard for things to go there way. Will they go to cheer camp? What about the football team? Do the boys learn that girls are exist for more than just hooking up with?

This films is very funny and is not as predictable as you would think. It includes a lot of characters each with their own quirky personalities. I love this film because story line is very unique, interesting and funny. I think it is the perfect film if you have had a stressful day and you just want to relax and relieve stress, it's sure to have you laughing!

Thank you for reading and be sure to keep your eyes open for my next post because its planned to be a good one!

The Perfect Fruit Smoothie ❤

Hi all, so today I'm going to share with you my favourite fruit smoothie! This recipe is my own and it tastes super sweet and super delicious! What I love about this recipe is that most of the ingredients included I never actually eat as they are, so this smoothie means I eat a wider variety of fruit. This recipe makes about 2 servings and after drinking it you are definitely well on your way to 5 a day! Lets get started...
(Sorry for the shocking photography, I'm not an expert photographer yet)

Ingredients:
1 large handful of spinach
1/6 of a melon
2 peach halves
A handful of strawberries (5, 6 or 7)
A handful of raspberries (4 or 5)
A small amount of water
Optional: Peach syrup

The first thing you need to do is gather all of your ingredients and put the into your blender. The melon should be chopped into cube shapes with no seeds and no skin. When I make this recipe I use tinned peach halves in syrup, so I use 2 of these peach halves and I chop them up, I will also use a very small amount of the peach syrup that they come in. The strawberries will just need there tops chopped of and the raspberries and spinach will just need to be washed.

You may be a bit surprised that Spinach is in the recipe but once finished you can't even taste it. So why add it in? I hear you say. Well spinach is very high in vitamins K, A and C and it is also very high in Iron and folic acid.                                             Once you have washed and chopped (where applicable) the ingredients, all you need to do is pour in some cold water so it nearly covers the fruit and blend! Then you can enjoy this sweet sensation! Please don't be put off if it comes out as an ugly colour, it still tastes amazing and you can't judge a book by it's cover! If you were wondering, the blender I use is the NutriBullet. It is so so easy to use and super quick, I would deffo recommend.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe, what is your favourite fruit?

My Fave Tunes ❤

Hey everyone, it's a bit of a simple post unfortunately but I wanted to get a post up. So today I just wanted to share with you some of my favourite tunes, some of them are quote old but I still love them! I'm pretty sure that you will be able to find all of the songs below on youtube.

I know Places- Taylor Swift

This song is from Taylors lateset album the 1989, I really like this song I think it is very edgy and a bit funky. I also think Taylor has a stunning voice!

Drawing Board - George Ezra

I love all of George's music, I actually bought his album wanted on voyage. This song is only a recent discovery because I was too busy obsessed with another one of his songs (more to follow). If you love male singers with fab voices who play the guitar then you will love this song.

Listen to the man - George Ezra

Once again this is a fantastic uplifting song that you can't not love. I also absolutely love the music video.

27 - Passenger

I love this song it is very catchy and I sing along every time! Just be warned it does include some swear words but it is still fab. If you don't know who passenger is, he is a male singer with a really husky voice and he also plays the guitar.

Sugar - Maroon 5

No description needed!!

I hope you enjoyed this short and sweet post, whats you favourite tune?

Get the YouTubers Brow! ❤

Today a decided to do a different kind of post to normal and I really hope I like it!

Whenever I watch a YouTube video (which is a lot) I always wonder how they get there eyebrows so  perfect and I never ever know what product to use. So I have done some research and found out which products some of the most popular beauty YouTubers use.

Note: I have tried my best to provide you with accurate information, but I can't guarantee that the information I have given is 100% accurate.

Niomi Smart:

https://instagram.com/niomismart

In Niomi's most recent everyday makeup video she uses Benefits Speed Brow. This costs £13 and is available from benefit counters in stores like Debenhams.

Tanya Burr:
https://instagram.com/tanyaburr In Tanya Burr's March 2015 favourites she says that she has been loving Maybelline's Brow Drama. But in her most recent makeup look she uses a MAC Brow pencil. (Couldn't find a link sorry) Brow Drama costs £4.99 and is available from your local drug store.
 Fleur DeForce:

In Fleur's spring makeup tutorial she uses Eylure's Brow control and shape gel. It costs £6.25 and is available from shops like M&S.
Source: Instagram   In a lot of Zoe's makeup tutorials specifically her most recent one she uses the Soap & Glory Archery. This costs £10 and is available from Boots.

I hope you like this post, see you next time!

H&M - My Spring Pics❤

To be honest I never really liked H&M but I think that is because I never really had a proper look and I never really gave it a chance. When I recently went shopping and looked in H&M I was pleasantly surprised because the style of clothes were definitely my style and the prices were very reasonable. I specifically loved some of the pieces in their basics range and I ended up buying 3 t-shirts from the basics range for a fantastic £21! I decided today I would show you some of my current spring favourites from H&M.

Play suits

I think these Play suits are absolutely gorgeous and there are many ways that you can wear them. They are really pretty and are great for the spring. I think they would look fab with black tights, black Chelsea boots, a statement necklace and a large floppy hat (if you have that confidence). They're are £12.99 which I think is pretty resonable considering how many different ways in which you can wear them.

            ---- The Floral one
             ---- A plain black version
---- A bright pink floral version

Lace Detail Crop Top

I love all lace detailed tops, but I particularly like this one for many reasons. I really like it because of it's shape, it's cropped but not tight. I also think it is lovely because it looks very expensive and luxurious. It would look fab with light blue high waisted jeans and a plain skater skirt. It is £19.99 which is a bit more on the pricey side but it's still gorgeous so yeah...

Crochet detail colourful tops

I absolutely adore these simple crochet detail, colourful tops, but I don't think the pictures above do them justice; which is why I have included a picture of the top on a model. I think these are perfect to throw on but still look like you have put a bit of effort into it. I think these tops are also really nice because they are not revealing but still show a bit of skin. I also think you could wear them with anything, jeans, denim shorts, floral patterned shorts, skater skirts, pencil skirts, the possibilities are endless. They're £7.99 which is a reasonable price and for the endless ways to wear, I would say that it is a bargain!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - Worth the hype? ❤︎

Hey Everyone, So most of you will have seen this cleansing water all over Instagram because it is very popular. Therefore I thought I would write this post to tell you whether it is actually worth the hype.
So without further ado lets get started...

Packaging - I love the packaging, it is very simple but still very cute. The fact that it is so simple means it goes with any room decor and looks perfect on any bedroom shelf. However for both myself and my friend it leaked in the carrier bag on the way home. So if you do buy it then be careful of how you transport it home!

Price - I bought mine from Superdrug for £4.99 but it is currently on offer and is only £3.32! I was willing to pay this price because it claims it includes enough product for 200 uses. I only use it when I wear makeup and I wear makeup less than half the time so this will definitely last me over a year. Also when I looking through the Boots and Superdrug website I discovered that it was the cheapest one, cheaper than brands like Simple and Soap&Glory.

Contents - It comes with a lot of product and the water is really good at removing even the tiniest bits of makeup and dirt. After using this product my skin feels fresh and exfoliated. The dispenser is good but can come out quite quickly, so be sure to not get carried away and use too much.

Overall - I think this is a fab product and a teens necessity. I would definitely recommend and I think you should get your hands on it fast whilst it is at a reduced price in Superdrug.

I hope you enjoyed this review, do you own the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water?

Fashion Q&A ♥ // Collab with Bluebell Bunting ☜

Hey Everyone,

I hope you are still enjoying the holidays and I hope the weather is good where you are. On Monday I went round to one of my best friends Saffies (from Bluebell Bunting) and we decided to do a blog collab. On my blog we answered 10 fashion questions and on Saffie's blog we answered 10 interior and stationery questions. So after you have read this post be sure to check out Saffie's fab blog. So here is the Q&A...

Put these in order of preference: Primark, New Look, Topshop, Ark or H&M?

Ella - Primark, H&M, Ark, New Look and then Topshop.

Saff - New Look, H&M, Primark, Ark, Topshop

You're on a desert island and you are only allowed 3 items of clothing what would they be?

Ella - Swimming Costume, Floral skirt and a big baggy t-shirt.

Saff - Swimming Costume, Pyjamas, Playsuit

Favourite style of shoe?

Ella -Either my vans or my (fake) timberlands; they are comfy and can be worn with everything.

Saff - Ankle boots - I have a pair (from H&M) and they are so comfy and good for events from shopping to dog walking!

Clothing item you wear all the time?

Ella - I practically live in jeans and plain white tops, simple, comfy and good for any occasion.

Saff - Definetly jeggings (leggings/jeans)! - the only things I wear other than jeggings are tights or socks (with a skirt or short, obviously!;))

What colour is your wardrobe?

Ella - Blue, I love blue and I wear it all the time! I also have blue eyes do I think blue suits me.

Saff - Mostly, grey. It may seem quite dull but I love grey and I think it suits me. Also, it's a great colour to wear all year round. If you look in my wardrobe you'll find a grey hoodie, a grey skirt, grey tights, grey socks, grey dress and grey cardigan. Oh and not forgetting my grey turtleneck! (I love it!)

Shorts or skirt?

Ella - Hmm, shorts are very comfy but I own more skirts and I think my skirts are cuter. And you all know how I feel about cute patterned skirts!

Saff - I really can't choose l, I'm sorry. I like them equally! Skirts are great as they're cute and flowy but shorts are also great for more active events such as trampolining!

Most expensive item of clothing you own?

Ella - probably my Hollister jogging bottoms, they're grey with pink writing and they are unbeliveably comfy.

Saff - a grey O'neill dress that I got to wear with, well... anything!

Most daring fashion purchase?

Ella - I don't think I have any because I'm not very daring when it comes to fashion!

Saff - That would have to be my baby laced detailed Hollister Bralette! It sounds very daring but I do wear it with long skirts so don't worry!

What are you wearing right now?

Ella - a plain white top and denim shorts.

Saff - light blue jeggings, a 3/4 length sleeved white top with navy around the bottom and grey sleeves with red round the bottom.

Socks - yay or nay?

Ella - I always wear trainer socks and I adore socks with frills.

Saff -Yay?! All socks are comfy! ... When you're not a strange eight year old kid (like I was) who only likes to wear knee high socks!

I hope you enjoyed this little get to know me post. See you all soon,

~Ella~

Spring Fashion - Patterned Skirts❤︎

So, today's post I am going to talk about one of my favourite fashion trends for spring. This is the patterned skirt. I love this trend because it is edgy, classy and very cute. Wearing a patterned skirt is also perfect for summer and they're great because they brighten up any outfit. I have gathered some of my favourites from various stores including Top Shop, River Island and H&M. Note, be warned this post is going to make you feel the need for a shopping trip!

Header Battle❀

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not posting, I hadn't managed my time very well and I was struggling with the style of my posts. But I am starting to manage my time better and I think I have my blogging style sussed. So as it's spring and I'm getting back into blogging I decided that I wanted to revamp my blog and give it a more Spring feel. I have designed some spring themed headers and I need some help deciding which one to choose. So here are the headers...

I will post a better blog post very soon, thank you for reading and please let me know which header is you favourite. One last thing, Happy Easter!
