My Beauty Wish List // Collab

Hey Everyone so today I have one of my favourite posts for you, it's a beauty wishlist! I love reading and writing these sorts of posts so I'm super excited to be writing this. Today's blog post is a collab with the lovely Floral Girl from http://www.floralgxrlx.blogspot.co.uk/ she only recently re-launched her blog and she will be posting her beauty wishlist at some point today; so go and read her post after you have read mine. On my beauty wishlist there are 10 items that come to just over £120.

Porefessional - I've never used a primer before and everybody raves about this one so I'm desperate to try it. When I wear makeup I only wear light makeup so I think a primer would be really good to help my makeup last all day. I like the fact that this primer has a colour in it so it is almost like a BB cream or foundation. This primer is quite expensive at £24.50 so I think to start off with I would buy a mini version.

Real Techniques expert face brush - I'm still yet to own a real techniques brush and I've wanted one for ages (I'm going to be saying this a lot in this post)! I think the brush I want is the expert face brush because it looks very versatile and I like the shape of the brush. This brush costs £9.99, but everyone raves about real techniques so I think it would be worth the price.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - I really want to get this concealer because it has a good coverage so I think it would be good for me on those days when I want to wear a little bit of make-up but I don't want to wear a BB cream or foundation. This concealer costs £4.19 and I have looked for it a couple of times but they have never had my shade in stock.

Lush Herbalism Fresh Cleanser - I recently tried Lush's angels on bare skin cleanser and I love it, so I really want to try another one of Lush's cleansers and Herbalism looks divine! It includes nettles, rosemary and rice bran vinegar which give it its gorgeous green colour. I can only imagine how good it smells and it costs £6.75 which I don't think is bad considering how long lush cleansers last.

Essie Nail Varnish - Being a big fan on nail varnish I'm desperate to get my hands on an Essie and the one pictured above in the colour play date is absolutely gorgeous. Essie nail varnishes are quite expensive at £7.99 but on fragrance direct they have a collection of about will probably be buying my first Essie polish from there.I really want an Essie varnish because  the size of the brushes  are perfect and the varnishes have a good consistency.

Bene balm - One of my friends recently bough this and she loves it which has made me really want to get it. I really like lip productsa that are moisturisibg but give you a bit of colour at the samr time. This is why I love the Baby lips range and why I think I would like bene balm. It is quite expensive at £14.50 but it does come with a lot of product and the saying goes: you get what you pay for.

Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer - When I recently bought a cheap bronzer and tried contoring I really liked it but then i managed to drop my bronzer and ruin it. So im after a new bronzer and the bourjois choclate bronzer is 'the drugstore bronzer to get'. It costs £7.99 but everyone says that it is really pigmented and it smells of choclate! I believe for a chocolate scented bronzer £7.99 isnt bad at all.

A mac lipstick - Although I am a big fan of tinted lip balms Im also a fan of lipsticks (if they're good ones). Mac lipsticks are very expensive at £15.50 but they're of a very high quality. However there is such a big collection that I wouldn't know which to choose. Some colours I do like are; creme cup, velvet teddy, twig and other pastel/nude pinks.

No7 Exfoliator Brush - This face brush is definitely going on my birthday wish list! It costs just under £30 but its not the sort of thing that you would have to frequently replace. I unfortunately do get a lot of blackheads and I believe that getting an Exfoliator brush is probably the best way to reduce and clear my skin of blackheads.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - The last thing on my beauty wishlist is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Like concealers when I have bought powders I have only ever purchased dirt cheap ones, which break after a day. So I really want to get this powder because although it is still very cheap at £3.99 everyone raves about the quality of it so I feel as if it would last a long time.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post, I'm sorry if I went on a bit I just get so into these sort of posts! If you are interested in doing a blog collab the best way to contact me would be either direct messaging me on instagram @w.onderful or emailing me ellajennings03@yahoo.co.uk.

Thank you for reading, see you next time!

  2. Lovely post, great wishlist!
I already own the expert face brush, porefessional and Bourjois chocolate bronzer. I would reccomend them all however, the Bourjois bronzer does not work too well for contouring as it can look abit orange. I prefer to use it lightly over my whole face.
I would also love a mac lipstick. The shades I like the look of are Velvert Teddy, Creme Cup, Angel and Shy Girl.

    1. Thank you ever so much Marti, I'm glad you like it! Thank you for your opinions, I'm quite pale so maybe the Bourjois bronzer wouldn't be a good idea for me. If you do buy a mac lipstick I would recommend looking on at Fragrance Direct they sell certain shades for £13 instead of £15.50. Ella x
