What's in my makeup bag? ⌘

For today's post I decided to rave about the products I've been loving. With out further ado let's get started...

My Makeup bag is a plain white leather make up bag that I got in a lynx set for christmas. I love it because it's the perfect size and it's simple so it goes with any room decor.

 Face
  • The Bodyshop BB cream
  • Seventeen BB cream
  • Natural Collection Pressed Powder
  • Summer of Love Bronzer
I have two different BB creams because they give different amount of coverages, the Body shop BB cream gives light coverage whereas the Seventeen BB cream gives a medium coverage. The Seventeen BB cream is definitely a bit darker so I use this when I want to give myself a bit more colour. I love them both and most days I will mix a bit of both to get the perfect coverage and the perfect colour. The Body shop BB cream cost £12 and the Seventeen BB cream cost £6.99. To set the BB cream and to stop myself from looking oily/shiny I use the Natural Collection Pressed Powder, this is ok, it does what it says but it's nothing special. But for only £1.99 it's definitely a bargain! The final product I use on my face is the Summer of Love, Triple baked bronzer. I love this product, I use it to add colour and shimmer to my face; I also use it to contour my cheekbones. It was a fantastic buy at only £4.99!

Eyes
  • MUA Undressed palette
  • No7 Lash Adapt
  • Benefit Rollerlash
I absolutely love the MUA undressed palette, it is fantastic at creating a variety of eyeshadow looks. It is great because it has a variety of different natural mattes and natural shimmers, it has three mattes and 9 shimmers. My favourite shades are number 1 which I use as a under brow highlighter, Number 2 which I use as a natural shimmery shade on my eyelids and Number 5, it is a perfect matte brown which I actually use to fill in and sculpt my brows. This palette is fantastic and at only £4 I definitely recommend it.
{Just realized how much I rambled, sorry}

In my makeup bag I have two mascaras, No7 Lash Adapt and a small version of Benefit's Rollerlash (this was a freebie with a copy of Elle magazine). I use them both because they do completely different things, the No7 lash adapt is fantastic at making my lashes longer and look naturally thicker and Benefit's Rollerlash is great at lifting up my top lashes. I couldn't find a link for the No7 Lash Adapt but a very similar one is the No7 Lash Impact which costs £13.50. A full sized version of Benefits Rollerlash costs £19.50 which is expensive but then again that's benefit for you.

 Lips

  • Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm (205
  • Babylips Pink Punch

I absolutely love Babylips and I take them wherever I go, recently I have been particularly loving the Oh Orange from the electro collection. It smells divine and it is a really nice natural colour. And at only £2.99 they're a brilliant buy. I've also been loving my Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Elusive, it is a beautiful spring/summer colour and I think it suits my skin tone. It comes with a lot of product and it costs £7.99 which is a bit on the pricey side but if your looking for a perfect spring lip product then this is definitely worth a look.

School Work and other Hassles

This is just a quick message to apologize for not posting quite recently. This is mainly because I've been very busy and I haven't been in the mood for blogging. I know some bloggers stick to a strict blogging timetable but I don't do this because I don't want the posts to feel forced. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, if you have any ideas, opinions or suggestions please leave them below because I love hearing your opinions.

Options Advice ❤︎

I am in year 9 so next year I am starting my GCSE's. I have to have submitted my options by tomorrow! So in this post I'm going to give you some advice. I know you get tons of advice from school, but I have some really helpful advice that you may not have thought of.

So here are 3 of the tips that I have found most useful...

1. Speak to someone who is in the year above, and speak to someone who is going to tell it straight. I was unsure of 1 subject and a friend, who is in the year above me, actually recommended that subject.

 2. Got a question and want an unbiased answer? Google. Yes Google. I was told something about an English Baccalaureate and I didn't know anything about it, so I googled it and found loads of useful information.

3. This is the most useful piece of advice I have used and it is; to ask teachers for examples of past papers. Having a look at past papers has really helped me decide whether I wanted to take those sort of papers in 2 years time.

Hope you found this helpful. What GCSE's are you taking or going to take?
